Hi all, I'm spanish and i don't speak english very well but i'll try
My situation risk: vaginal relations with prostitute but the condom broke about 2-3 minutes
My symptons: -pharyngittis ( today persist) -night sweats for 20 consecutive days
My test: elisa fourth generation Ag/Ab with negative result on days 28 and 55
I know that I should wait 3 months but i would like to hear your opinions.
another question - can primoinfection be detected by test p24? - my test day 28- result 0,26 and my test day 55- result 0,45 ( negative < 0,90), why my last test increased the result?
and a last question ( sorry) i have two hemogram, the first at month after exposure, and the second two months after exposure
................. hemogram 1 hemogram 2 Hemoglobin ........ 5.220.000 / 5.000.000 Hemoglobin....... 16,42 / 15,82 Hematocrit........ 48,19 / 46,7 White blood cell........ 6,710 / 5,59 lymphocytes......... 32,9% / 34% Neutrophil.......... 57,5% / 54,5% Monocites......... 7,8 % / 9,3 %
Platelets.......... 241 / 170
Im worry, my lymphocites decreased, and my plateletes decreased 70.000!!! , why? can be vih +? thanks very much
adios amigos

The 4th Generation ELISA is designed to detect the P24 antigen BEFORE antibodies even develop. P-24 antigen develops within days of infection. This test can detect HIV infection earlier than any test before it. The fact you had a negative result at 55 days means that you should expect the same result at 3 months.
