Hey Everyone,
Ok where to start... I stood on a needle on holiday 2 months and 13 days ago. I went to the doctors in the country I am currently working in. (which also jails you and takes ur visa if you contract hiv or hep) They told me not to worry cause the risk is minimal. Yes I am awake of the 10 hour life of hiv out of the body. So aside form the minimal risk. At around the two month mark I started getting pains while eating. It went away after a few days. I also started feeling like there was a lump in my throat and one of the nodes on the right side of my neck under my jaw felt a bit sore. Also every time in the last month I had a drink of alcohol I woke up and all my nodes hurt in my neck. They didn't swell but hurt for a day. Anyway over the next few days the node on my right under my neck started to hurt a bit and my throat was a bit raspy. Was no more than 1 - 1.5 cm in size. Had a very minimal fever that was more like a hot flush for a day. Had bad Headaches and a sore neck for 3 days.Then nothing since. However on my right side about 4 days ago a node came up on the back of my neck. It doesnt hurt just now I can feel it. It is not more than 1cm in size. Then today I got a pain in my groin.on the left side. It isnt over any of my nodes but beside them. The nodes arent swollen and feel relatively normal in my groin on both sides although the ones on the right seem bigger. Still no bigger than 1 cm. Then today I also noticed that there is now another gland under the other swollen gland on the back of my neck that is swollen but not sore. Only on the right side. around 1cm - 1.5 cm. I work in the aviation business so I intend to get tested at the 3 month mark outside of the country I am working in. What I would like to know is are these ARS symptoms and are they usually this late or delayed. As from what i ahve been told by medical professionals is that it usually happens with in 2 - 4 weeks and is sudden rather than drawn out. If anyone who is hiv + or - has any experiences or opinions I would love to hear them. Thanks for your time. Concerned

Unfortunately symptoms mean nothing and what you are asking will not give you any indication of YOUR status.
The life span of HIV outside the body is minutes, not hours.
I would suggest if as you say, it's a crime to test postive where you currently are, that you beat feet out of that country. It's doubtful you have HIV, but who'd want to live in that environment anyway....also you can then do the ONLY thing that will determine your status. Get tested.
