mosquito bites??

I heard mosquitoes can't transmit hiv, and I hope its true. Because I was definitely bitten by the same one as an hiv+ person. We were in a small room and there was only one mosquito in there and it bit both of us within about 1 minute. I am scared, but I have to trust the scientists who say its impossible, right? Should I take a test anyways?
