So Scared....

I received multiple unprotected blowjobs from different CSWs one night. I also french kissed one of them even though I had cuts on the insides of both my cheeks.
From what I have read, there is no real risk..
But from what I feel, I think there is no hope for me.
A few days after the episode I began getting muscle/joint aches which have continued till today (2.5 weeks). Also, during the same time, I have been feeling nausea on and off. The final nail was on the 2 week mark when I had one episode of a night sweat and then woke up the next day with a strange sensations/pain/discomfort behind my eyes (guess a headache) which has persisted for 2 full days now. Also, a few hours after the headache, I have a numbness on my right toe whiich is also continuing (so it seems the neurological symptoms have started). Since the neurological symptoms have started, I have been feeling like crap and weak and dizzy.
I would have never thought that gettng a blowjob could lead to this. Perhaps she may have touched her vagina before touching my penis, or some other possible risk factor, because I cannot understand how I could be the first person to be infected this way.
Would appreciate any thoughts or comments and good luck wishes!

I hope you will see a doctor about your symptoms. Especially in light of your neurological difficulties. You see that type of thing wouldn't be seen in someone just seroconverting. Matter of fact nothing you state about your symptoms is indicitive of HIV and I hope you don't wait too long to find out the true cause.
Believe what you have read. You aren't going to be the first to get HIV from those activities. Test if it makes you feel better, but expect a negative.

Dear Es,merelda,
Thank you for your reassuring words.
But I am confused. The symptoms I have described: myalgia, arthralgia, nausea, headache, night sweat, peripheral neuropathy, malaise are all the major symptoms of primary HIV infection.
Normally I would not have been worried from the risk exposure, but since the symptoms are so specific and in the correct timeframe (althouth the myalgia and arthralgia and nausea started earlier, it really got worse around the time the neurological symptoms started). Plus, there are no other diseases where you all these symptoms for so long...
I must have been exposed to HIV from some other avenue besides the oral sex. It could be the only explanation....

Hi Guys,
I took the following tests 18 days after potential exposure:
HIV PCR RNA Qualitative HIV Proviral DNA (Qualitative) HIV P24 HUV Duo
All tests were negative.
But, 3 days after testing (i.e. 21 days after potential exposure), I got a rash on my forehead (I think I pressed hard and it seemed more like a bruise, but I never bruise from just pressing).
Then, 4 days after testing, I got a very bad dry rasping cough, fever, fatigue, and body pains which all lasted for 3-4 days.
Is it possible that I tested too early or would the tests I took have determined if I was indeed infected with HIV? I would have thought that if I tested when I did (i.e. 3-4 days before apparent ARS symptoms, the tests would be accurate)?
What do you guys think?
Do I need to test again?
Thanks!

I started to writing this post explaining how your symptoms, timing, etc are not in any way specific to HIV. I started to comment about the fact ACUTE means all at once. Not a symptom here and one there. I was going to reiterate how there are no confirmed cases of transmission from getting blow jobs.
But then I realized I can type my fingers to the bone, it won't make any difference.
I'm just going to say that you are well on your way to becoming a worried well. It's not a pleasant way to live your life.
You have already over tested before any of the tests can even be reasonable considered useful. Not that I think the result would change anyway.
Test at 6 weeks and be done with this.
Chris - If you're reading this perhaps you can give Vern an idea of what happens when you let the fear of HIV get out of control.
