Do you think CDC will change their window for HIV testing down to 3 month next Thursday? It is very strange that your doctors doesn´t start to recommend this now because they should now before that the guidlines will change, or? I just wonder how many of you worried have spoked with a HIV specialist in the U.S and what do they say about the Window period? Do they say that 3 month is OK or are they saying 6 month and what should be the reason for taking 6 month? Please share what your MD or HIV specialist have told you when you have done the HIV test, what window period and reason for someone to take 6 month for positive test. This could be usuful to all in this forum.
