Over the weekend I recently went to a Homecoming party that my college was hosting. It was alot of fun and I had a very good time but I remember after a few drinks, starting to drink out of random people's beers, once drinking directly out of a random bottle. i also poured out some people's unfinished drinks into my glass to drink with myself and some friends. Do this put me at risk for HIV, STDs or anything else? I'm thinking about gettin tested, just as an afterthought.

No risk for STDs, if they were transmitted that easily they wouldn't be called sexually transmitted diseases including HIV...

It is past time for you to educate yourself on how HIV is transmitted. Honestly, the whole thing you mentioned is absolutely gross, what if they had some back wash you basically swallowed someones spit. EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW. Like pixie said that is not how HIV is transmitted, if that were the case more people would be infected. You can not acquire HIV from casual contact. Education is key here. Good luck, D

Thanks alot. I know your right, I just read somewhere that people can get oral herpes from sharing drinks, but the risk is pretty low if they dont have open sores. Wont do what I did ever again though! stupid me.
