Does anyone know whether or not the rapid testing using a pinprick is reliable or not? Is there a high incidence of false positives with these rapid tests? I know they follow it up with the general two week blood work test if it comes back positive, but do these tests tend to come back positive more often than not? Are they reliable? Any help wuould be great. Thanks.

Normally all test kits available in market for consumers are FDA approved or approved by the health authority of that country/state. These kits give accurate sensitive and efficient results almost every time. False positive is a sporadic phenomenon, however it does occur.
To sum up, the test kit, whether using a oral swab or pinprick should give accurate results....but then if there is a doubt regarding the result, a confirmatory test should settle the dust!
Good luck
