Any reason to test after 13 weeks?
      #237296 - 03/09/08 09:31 AM

I tested just over 13 weeks after possible exposure.
The test machine was a 'VIDAS EIA'
Result was NEGATIVE.
Initial testing at 1 month revealed a Chlamydia infection

Are there any reeasons to test beyond that?
Initial symptoms 3 week post 'exposure' were pharyngitis, maculo-papular rash on torso, myalgias, arthralgias, fever, weight loss, lymph swelling)
A few weeks after main symptoms gone - continued lymph swelling throughout body arms, legs, chest, armpits, groin, back of knees, parotids..., headaches, photophobia, eye floaters, pins and needles arms and legs, arthralgias, Tinnitus (continuous), Reactive arthritis as complication of bacterial (chlamydial or food poisoning) infection?

There is no reason to test further. Congrats on being HIV negative. Go and enjoy your life.
