Condoms and a good waterbased lube are great protection. I am sorry to hear about your girlfriend's diagnosis, but there are couples that have been together for years and years where one is positive and one is negative and as long as you protect yourself you should be fine. Good luck, D

I am positive and my husband is negative. We have been together for 8 years. Using a latex condom and waterbase lube is what you wan to to do.

Hey taino1. I suggest that you head over to the "My Love One Has..." board. I'm negative and my fiancee is poz (it's called being a 'Serodiscordant Couple') so we're just really careful and always use condoms. I know it can be scarey and you probably have alot of questions.
