DUO Test at just under 9 weeks (also INSTI rapid)
      #236486 - 02/11/08 05:04 PM

Does the DUO pick up p24 Antigen at just under 9 weeks if antibodies are not yet present?

Is there a gap between detectable p24 and detectable antibodies?

ELISA test after 13 weeks of possible exposure is conclusive.

I tested NEG at 92 days post suspected exposure.
Guess this means I am in the clear.

I have to visit the nurse to get blood tests to see what was causing all those symptoms. (maculo-papular rash, fever, pharyngitis, myalgia, arthralgia a few weekspost exposure)
Loose stools, headaches, photophobia, pins and needles, eye floaters, tinnitus, joint pain a few weeks after initial symptoms.

It is a mystery.....
