I just read on dr. bob column that a flu shot can cause indeterminate results on hiv test, does anyone have anymore info on that. thanks

I was researching on this topic for a while. I did go through the response, i think getting an indeterminate test result is the only glitch here. I would like to assume that a confirmatory western blot should settle the matter, as an indeterminate test should be confirmed by a western blot test.
Having said that, i am not sure if this cross-reacting antibodies are indeed caused by a flu shot. As being said in the response by Dr.Bob, i guess it is a recent development, but then i am yet to come across such information if it does exist.
