can your temperature go up and down if you have ars symptoms?i am dont sure when my started to do this and might allways done this. but it has went to 99.7 but went back down it does not last all day and dont last for long. sometime about 8:00 in the night i be sitting watching tv and it will go up to 99.3 and then goes back down,i do work outside.i have two 8 second and two 60 second temperaure gauge. the 8 second always the highest it is .6 to 1 degree diffent than the other.is the 8 second ones messed up? have no fatigue or rash no swollen nodes. i have a little muscle ache but had for along time. can the temperature go up like these in ars symptoms or is this normal for your temperature to do this?i heard that you have to have a temp. of 100.4 or more for a few days true or not?please help me out with the temp. THANKS

99.7 is not considered a fever. Normal body temps fluctuate like that. Symptoms are not a reliable indicator of newly acquired HIV infection anyway. Furthermore, you had protected sex irregardless of your herpes outbreak. Guess what? protected sex = NO HIV. You are in the clear my friend...

Everyone's temperature fluctuates all day,the standard 98.6 is just an average.The human body is not like a thermostat that can be set for a certain temp and there it stays.It will change according to the time of day,what you have been doing,resting,working,exercising,what you ate or drank even your mood can effect your temp.Don't worry,it's perfectly normal
