I have searched all the archive in this site but unable to find any similar to my situation and that is why I am writing here. Recently I have a massage done in Singapore. The masseuse performed a protected oral & vaginal sex on me, I know I am protected however I have an open wound (pimples) at my pubic region (not at the based of the penis slightly above the penis base or upper side of the pubic region) and there is a small blood coming out from there. I not sure when did it burst, during the sauna/Jacuzzi or during the sexual act but I noticed it only after the intercourse while washing up.
The act performed is she was on top of me for abt 3 - 5 mins before I eject in the condom. I heard from AFA (Action for Aids) here is low risk unless the open sore is in contact with the vaginal or seminal fluid. I don’t remember if there is any vaginal fluid in contact. Now very worried and I more worries because I feel tired easily and body itchy. I tested 7 days after exposure using both rapid & Elisa and then again on the 21 days using rapid all is negative. I am planning to do another rapid test 30 days after exposure for based line check and do another check for conclusive result after 3 month. What are my chances in contacting HIV? Pls reply fast as I been dreaming abt HIV for the last 25 day every night. The worse thing that I think I be dying out of fear is I have done unprotected sex with my wife after this exposure twice until I came to this web and realize that I have being in danger and I really worried now. I went to see my GP and he say the scar on my pubic region and he say is not HPV2 even when i have my sybilis and Herpes test taken and result is negative except Herpes1.

Hi Ravi,
Thank for the fast respond. U mentioned that is unlikely i am infected, can u eleborate more? What is my chances to contracted HIV? I was told by my GP that is Theoretical risk but one thing i cannot undertstand is that:
1. Blood is oozing out from the burst pimple (small amount) and from there is there any chance that a vaginal.seminar fluids in contact?
2. Does vaginal fluids and blood mix together cause infection?
3. I was told that I need a real big open sore & a pool of vaginal fluids to cause transmittion. Is it true? If yes how big would the sore have to be?

Wang Wang,
Sure there is theoretical risk, but then practically speaking, the semen oozing out and getting in the open sore is just not possible. Moreover, HIV virus is quite fragile and cannot survive in the environment for a long time. For the virus to infect an individual, there are many factors which should be met.
As i said earlier, i see no risk whatsoever. The only risk would be slippage/breakage of the condom, however from what you state it did not happen!

As you mentioned "oozing out".. How would hiv "get in?" Not possible my friend.... "Bleeds bleed out, never in."
WW... I would give yourself about a 99% probability that your test results at 90 days will be exactly the same as your 21st day test....

Hi Thanks a lot for the information and assurance. I have put myself more in a relax mode. I done another rapid test 28 day after explosure and result is negative. Well I took your words that my risk is very very low but i got panicked again when I touched my neck on the right hand side and felt a small lymph nodes or i not sure if that a swollen lymph nodes. It painless but if i turn my neck or touched it, I felt abit uncomfortable like some muscle pain kind but is a mild feeling. I look at the mirror but is not visible to be seen. I dont have this on my left neck.
Again i really really appreciated the information given to me. One more thing, I have read somewhere that there is a cure for HIV founded. Is it true?
