Scared to death
      #22992 - 10/04/01 10:17 PM

Now I am really scared. I just read what "billc" has written. I have the same Symptoms of left side of my face feeling soar and blood clots coming out everytime I blow my nose. I recently have been suffering from allergies from the pollens in the air. However what scares me most is that at about 2 months after my exposure my stool turned white or beige. I thought this might be hep c. Got tested for it was negative. But is there a window period for hep c. If it turns out I have Hep c, I understand this can interfere with even a 3rd generation elisa. Please I need your learned opinions on this matter. I got tested at 13 weeks for hiv and it came back negative. People what should I do. May God have mercy on me.

What you need to do is calm down. You don't have HIV and you don't have Hep C. Your tests prove that. Since you have the same symptoms as billc and he doesn't have HIV either I don't know why you should be so scared.

More than likely you both have done a number on your bodies from worry.

Also if when you blow your nose you get dried blood out. Try a humidifier. Dry air is the greatest cause of dried blood when someone blows their nose. If your face is sore, perhaps you have developed a sinus infection. You did say that your allergies are giving you a problem.

As the other poster said. Watch what you eat. The only time I think anyone really worries about stools is when they become black and tarry. That can be a sign of bleeding and could indicate cancer.

I would suggest you look into the possibility that you have allowed the stress of all this to cloud your rational thinking about the situation.

Good Luck
