Our own former surgeon general wrote:
HIV antibodies generally do not reach detectable levels until one to three months following infection and may take as long as SIX MONTHS to be generated in quantities large enough to show up in standard blood tests.
Wher is the evidence for 3 Months?

ask some of the experts on this forum they will tell you 3 months is now the outer window. why ask people here on this board ? what are you even worried about ? you are the lamest person that ever posts here everytime you post here I think of you as someone who knows nothing about HIV How to get it or what type of test to take and when. Dr. Koop's information is outdated as everything else you come up with. You are just a lil trouble maker who needs your diaper changed. ask the experts like we do they will tell you the answer.

LOL what is a standard blood test ? thats how lame your argument is.
standard blood test... ever hear of a pcr dna ? or a elisa test ?
99% will show positive by 3 month with a 3rd generation elisa test
is this the whole point of your 6 month argument ? 1% ? (1% is for PEP)
the last time you posted here people told you about the CDC's draft didnt you read it ?
lol go read the expert forums for yourself I can find outdated info saying 6 months is when to test too. But I rather go by 2001 information and the recent Chicago Infectious disease conference where 3 month Elisa test is considered CONCLUSIVE.
the chance of testing positive after 12 weeks is too remote to worry about and argue about it . I rather listen to the Doctors and Hiv Experts.

I think it was 99.7% at 3 months as Dr. Gallant wrote in the John Hopkins website.

You are an idiot, that's the truth! If you believe that 3 months is not conclusive, by all means wait 6 months or more. Do you know that many experts feel that 3 months is a very generous window period to detect almost all infections. Please stop coming here every few days to post the same crap.

Dr koop is not a HIV expert nor does he treat people with HIV . Lets listen to the HIV experts who would tell someone worried about HIV that 12 weeks is more han enough time to allow pass before testing unless you had ongoing symptoms or some other factors (I won' go into here). This person here who is posting is just a kid who has his hat on backwards or gets his jollies posting this 6 month myth because he knows he will ge alot of Replys.
take care
