no STD symptoms after oral a year ago. Am I ok?

last year I received oral for the first time in my life. I'm a virgin. The girl told me she was clean but i am paranoid.
A year has passed and I have shown no signs of genital herpes. Am I clean?

Guess you are if you shower once in a while.
There are some std's which can be acquired through oral sex. Added to herpes are the risks of gonorrhea and chlamydia. You can never rely on symptoms or lack thereof to determine your health. People that are sexually active should have a full panel done every year.
So, if you want to know if you have a STD or not, then you need to test, which by the way, has nothing to do with cleanliness.
