I am a woman in Colorado who has engaged in a two-year relationship with a man in Juarez, MX. To my knowledge he is not bisexual, IV drug user, just a heterosexual who enjoys sticking his woman pleasure in places it need not go. He and I began having sex since September 2005, and my last STD screen was in Jaunuary of 2007, with all negative results including HIV. The last time we engaged in sex was on April 14-15, a total of two times. Condoms were utlized but after two-three minutes of unprotection. My fear rests in the fact that he has admitted to having sex with other women and he hurt me during our last sexual encounter. He was very rough and made me bleed. I am already stupid, but if someone could offer me some level of advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

There really isn't much anyone can say. It's highly unlikely that a couple of minutes of unprotection would cause infection, but you won't have the facts until you test 3 months after your last unprotected encounter. He has for the most part protected sex with you, there isn't any reason to believe he doesn't use protecttion with other women. He may have been rough, but if it was when the condom was being utilized then there wouldn't have been a risk.
