Question about Diarrhea Symptom

When someone gets a symptom of Diarrhea, how bad is it normally? Is it on and off? I haven't been eating anything out of the ordinary or taking any meds and I seem to have to need to visit the bathroom twice daily and the stool is sometimes loose and watery and others normal. Could this be caused by or a symptom of HIV?
Thanks

My experience with HIV is that the diarrhea was caused by medications and / or stress.

Yeah im insanely stressed out right now so I'm not ruling out that. But are you talking about after you tested POZ for HIV? I had the high-risk encounter just 1.5 months ago (Dec. 12), experienced massive diarrhea due to PEP drugs but now (after im done with the PEP) I still have diarrhea. My eating habits are normal and I'm no longer on medication.
It's just a bit unnerving. I'm very scared and it doesn't help that im a pessimistic person anyway.
