Hello,
Yesterday, I got my 6 months results : HIV and hep C negative. Bilirubin : 2.29 ( very high - liver ) CD4-count(698) ( very low)
I'm still not able to work, sleep all day, gingivitis, polyneuropathy, no energy, rashes, dizziness, memory disturbances, ...
I'm still fearing a coinfection HIV - HEPC ...
Has there anyone been in my situation or has a clue what's going on ? It definitely isn't psychosomatic ...
Thx,
David

Your high bilrubin count could indicate cirrhosis or Hepatitites, not HIV. If you had Hep C with that kind of level, you would not have tested negative on your lastest test.
The normal range for CD4s is 500 - 1100. You are NOT very low. I know people that would kill to have as many CD4 cells as you do. When you can name your total CD4s by just using the seven dwarfs, then you can say you have a low CD4 count.
If you haven't already taken your doctor's advice and seeing someone about the possibility this is all stress related, you should do so as soon as you can.
You ARE HIV NEGATIVE. It's time to take the next step.

Hello,
Thx for the reply, but I already visited 4 psychiatrists, I took Serlain and Risperdal for months ... nothing seems to work and the symptoms remain ...

Well then tell you doctor to figure out what is wrong. At least you know it's not HIV or HepC.
Good luck in your search

I've been tested for a lot of virusses ( CMV, mycoplasma, ... ), had a scan to exclude MS, ...
the doctors see the symptoms, the dentist sees what's happening to my teeth, gums ... but they also have no clue what's going on ... and I've been to the best specialists in my country.
It's just frustrating to wait until your body seroconverts

How come you can accept that you DON"T have all that other stuff when you have tested negative for it, but can't accept it when you test negative for HIV.
And don't say because you have 'symptoms'. That excuse could be used for any of the things you have tested for.
I'm sorry you are having so many problems.
Just remember this: Tthe more time you spend here disbelieving your negative status, is that much more time you are wasting before finding out what's really wrong with you.

well david75, here I am 5.5 months later, with the same symptoms and same suffering that you had and testing negative. tested negative with elisa at 3 months, and rapid testing from there, i do rapid testing because is more convinient and fast, but I am starting not to trust those test. this is hell I just seen to get every flu aroud every month, and is so severe. well I least at this point I think I am ready for acceptance.

OK I registered, I am the one with a 5.5 negative. about private message well I need to do how to do that, I am going crazy I have double anxiety because I fear for my girlfriend also because I was with her 2 weeks after exposure. I was thinking of donating blood since they do more intense testing, but that will be another anxiety thinking if I have it and they miss that and give it to somebody else. keep in touch
