hi,
when antibodies are created, is it during time when symptoms or ars illness subside (antibody fight off illness) or when the illness is most strong (body reacting to virus and increase body heat like fever to kill the virus)?
thanks.

with no antibodies there is no illness....antibodies are what make your body sick bc fevers etc are the bodies way of trying to kill of the virus or bacteria or whatever and the antibodies are hard at work doing the same

2 /4 weeks after infection usually. Detectable atnti bodies usually show up after ARS. They do not cause illness the replication of the virus is causing illness.. Once antibodies are produced ARS has subsided.

so does that mean antiboodies can be detected once you have recovered from the symptoms? even if the ARS has only been a week after exposure?

The CDC says that on average antibodies are detectable at 25 days.

antibodies are produced within days after infection , depends on the person , and they start becoming detectable on a elisa test in 4-6 weeks
