PCP could it be part of AVS

Can you get PCP as a first sign? I've been sick and under a lot of stress for the past 4 weeks. I've devopled a dry cough plus a lot of other symptoms, was wondering is PCP could be a first symptom too?

PCP is something someone with a CD4 count of under 200 can get.
It's the number one killer of people with AIDS. While not really the first sign, many times it is the first time someone thinks to test for HIV. Since it's not unusal for people to live with HIV for years and years and not be ill, it is not unheard of for people to find out they have HIV while they are battling for their lives in the hospital because they have PCP.
The one thing I would question is if you really had PCP, how you are well enough to even sit up and type at a computer. Most people when they are deathly ill consult a doctor, not a forum.
