Why is losing weight a sympton for early hiv?? how does it make you lose weight can someone please tell me im scared that i might be hiv positive

what are you talking about?..earlt HIV?...do you mean when you first get infected?...but...HIV may make you lose weight possibly because of the nausea..you dont want to eat, vomiting, diarrhea, fever (causes a higher metabolic rate)....just a weight loss is vague...but please get tested...because i wasted a year of my life believinng and living like i was +. i had a high risk exposure and alot of symptoms-enlarged lymph nodes, fatigue, nausea, joint pain, muscle aches, headaches, neck aches....just get the guts and get tested...get a rapid test so you dont have to put yourself through agony of waiting...and be safe next time...god bless you!
