ARS shows just before a person is sero-converting. {Producing anti-bodies} Therfore it is an individual thing usully 4 weeks. Not all have symptoms that's why everbody should have an HIV test if they are sexually active.

ARS typically shows up between 2-4 weeks. Symptoms, if any can vary greatly, but most often they are described as flu-like and can be accompnaied by a very high fever. These symptoms self-resolve in about a week.

Between 50 to 90% of people will have symptoms that can range from mild and not even noticable to extreme.
