Hey all,
I've recently ordered an at home test, But have heard that they are not so reliable. I'm wondering if anyone out there has used them. If so, Whats your opinion? Should I trust the result,or go and get tested regardless??

I wouldnt trust an hiv home test kit. They are expensive and theres the risk the test is inconclusive.

If you are using a home test make sure it is Home Access. It is the only FDA approved test. And yes, it is reliable and conclusive at 3 or more months.

If it is FDA approved it is as reliable. Never understood with "rapid test" so avalible why folks put themselves through the waiting period when they can get the results in 20min. Oh well. D.J.

I believe the only FDA approved home test is made by Home Access...it is 99.9% accurate after 3 months
