7 month HIV and Syphilis Negatives...Von Dutch?

Hi all,
To anyone who has followed my progress out there (especially for you Mrs J&J! And OG, Von Dutch), I got my negative results for HIV and Syphillis Wednesday morning.
My doctor is now referring me onto an infectious disease specialist, and a neurologist since the pain in my hands and feet remians, and the obvious inflammation that is easy to see with the naked eye along with all the other constitutional symptoms (the latest is my hair falling out in clumps!) has led him to agree that it seems I have an infection of some kind.
Seems theres plenty of nasty things out there to catch besides HIV. So my only message to those coming to this forum with anxiety relating to HIV infection, and those who are HIV+ remember that more is understood about HIV than some other infections that can it seems do almost as much damage to your health and immune system. Consider yourself lucky if you can get a diagnoses and treament, some of us are in the permanent state of anxiety of not knowing what is causing REAL symptoms, so are in the unfortunate position of having to deal wiht the state of mind that goes hand in hand with this particular forum.
Dont be frightened to take the test! Be frightened of never finding out whats ruining your life.

Good to know you don't have HIV or syphills. Seems you need to find other sources of information. Good luck with finding a board that deals with your type of problems. This one isn't it.
