so yesterday Im about to take a shower and thats when I see a pimple on my penis.. on the shaft.. the top part, just before where the hair is..
so anyways.. I went to the doctor's and he had a look and he told me, with extreme confidence, that it does not look like an STD. I even asked him if I needed to do any testing or whatever, and he said no.. and the pimple had no secretions or whatever to take a culture.
So my question is.. can I rely on his assessment?
oh and might I add.. my last sexual encounter was more than a year ago (yeah i know.. quite sad)

Let me get this straight. You saw your doctor, the one that went to medical school. He actually looked at what you are talking about. He told you it was nothing to be concerned about.
And your second guessing him by asking a bunch of people on a web site, mostly with no medical experience?
Did I wake up in some alternative reality this morning. If so, then I guess what you are doing makes sense.

I know how you feel, I am a female and I shaved "down there", I got major razor burn...I freaked thinking it was herpes. Its probably a ingrown hair or from sweating you can get clogged pores...Hang in there...

i dono.. it kinda grew
see, when I first noticed it.. it was at the size it is right now, then the next day.. the day i went to see the doc.. it kinda shrank
now its back to its original size.. i did exercise today and sweat alot down there but i dont know
I'm scared it might be warts now.. im sure its not herpes tho
its a pretty decent sized "pimple" and it the bump itself is hard..
does it sound like warts?! oh man..

oh and i forgot to add.. like the pimple like thing is under the skin..
im hoping its a sebaceous cyst.. but from everywhere i checked.. people pop them and white puss comes out..
the one i have is very hard and.. i dont even attempt popping it

I am a female. It sounds like a cyst that needs to be lanced by a doctor. I had one of those one time. It was not cool at all. I would see a doctor immediately and see if it needs to be lanced and if you need to go on antibiotics.

hey.
that happened to me too. i went crazy thinking i had an std, and yes, i use my tool more than you do.lol
anyways, what you have is an ingrown hair. i had mine for more than a year, and now and then come up like a pimple, and went away by using antibiotics. it was not until i took a niddle and put the hair out that i realize what my doctor told me to begin with.
you do not have an std.

Ouch..a needle to the wee wee??? Yikes, be careful, infection could occur if you attempt that in your own. Go see your Dr. again, ask him if it is a wart. Tell him what is going on down there...If not, try and find a Dr. that specializes in Std's. I am sure you are fine! Let us know....

no.. it popped by itself.. IM SO SCARED NOW..
the discharge wasnt white (i keep reading that cyst discharge is white).. the discharge was clear mixed with blood (i dabbed it with tissue this morning) i didnt pop it myself.. it opened up by itself
im so worried now.. i plan to goto the doctor but i need a little reassurance this is ok..
Do cysts open up by themselves?? Could it be possible this is just a regular pimple on my penis?? oh my god.. im panicking..

dude.... i told you what it is, i had the same shit.
ask you doc for antibiotics, and ask him to check if there is a growing inward hair. believe me, no one was more sure than me that i had an std when it happened to me, i was even ashame...that area is very sensitive, actually mine pop out once with out me notice it by wacking off, so yes, the cyst created it by whatever(hair, pimple) can pop out by itself....

herpes sores come and go fast, thats what i have been reading everywhere.. its like crusting over now.. and its only been like 5 days
its gone through the cycle.. im goin back to the doctor and expectin the worst
.. fuck me.. fuck me!!!

just a cyst, as i said many times already. if you have not been intimate, there is not way will be an std. stay calm, and stop reading post here and there. you are ok, you do not have a std.
