I seem to recall reading that the herpes window period is also 3 months, but I'm not 100% certain....

12 weeks should be enough for HSV-2 IgG blood test. IgM is early detection marker but highly unreliable. I also want to know when would IgM antibodies disappear when the person is infected [like how long it takes for IgM to become negative after initial infection]... Take care
