HI,
I had unprotected vaginal sex with a woman that I do not know well. First, I had sex with her 9 weeks agon than again 7 weeks ago for the second time. I did not use condom both times, I know I was stupid. I started have symptoms after 10 days of second exposure with her.
First , I started to have Nuerological problem. My vessel in finger got swallen three or four times. They stay swollen for few hours than dissappear. I had that problem for two weeks. When this problem dissapeared, right away I started to have small pimples under my skin on fingers and palm. Mostly on vessells on fingers. They stay like pimples for 3 or 4 days than it become dry with skin come out. No watery substance come out. I had it for allmost ten days and thait was gone. After 2 or 3 days of that symptom dissappeared, now I am having tingling and burning sensation all over my body. My finger, hand , back, toe, under foot. shoulder. I still have it and having it for 5 , 6 days. 2 weeks ago, bottom of my foot got all red and started to burn. both were burning and burned for like 6 hours.
Second symptom, I had was mouth ulcer. two weeks after my last exposure, I had 3 mouth ulcer in 4 days and they all dissapeared within couple of hours.
3 weeks after my last exposure with her , I had fever, but I think that fever was hay fever as I was sneezing all day before fever , and had runny nose , cough and very low fever , aroun 99.
Mosty , I am worried about the Nueropathy, I heard that it is common during seroconversion period.
Is there any body can share there story about Neuropathy during the early stage of infection. Wheter it was postive or negative. I can not sleep at all. I got tested negative after 3 weeks of first exposure with her and 4 days of last exposure with her. I am waiting to get tested again. Please help me. Please answer my question about nuerology at early hiv. Please pray for me that I stay negative. Also, please do not have unsafe sex. thank you.

Neuropathy is NOT at all common during ARS. Also, symptoms are never reliable when it comes to this type of exposure and contracting HIV. Since you have put yourself at risk, albeit rather small, you should get tested >4 weeks as at least 90-96% would test positive by then. If you need further reassurance, an ELISA antibody test between 6-8 weeks is at least 99% In the meanitime, don't worry too much, the odds are very much in your favor. Peace

Agree with MPO. You must get tested but your swollen fingers have NOTHING to do with neuropathy. It usually starts in the feet and it is usually associated with meds and late HIV (AIDS). Sounds like stress to me. Been there done that. Dont kill yourself with stress. BTW- stress can cause cankers in the mouth (ulcers) and rashes and swelling of joints. Dont freak out dude. I would get tested at 6 weeks and put this behind you.
OH AND DONT BE A WIENE AND WRAP YOUR WILLY
