Home Access testing??

Hi all..well I finally did it, my 9 month Hiv test..3 month was negative, but I am having my doubts. I did a Home Access test were you prick your finger and mail(fed ex) it in, the box says it is 99.9% accurate. Has anyone done this test before? Do the results come in within 24 hours like it says? I am scared with my sadface on...When will I ever stop being obsessed with guilt and fear?? UG!

I felt the same way, I took 2 home access tests and got nervous after some "symptoms. I was reassured by a testing center. I have 1.5 weeks to go untill 13, and I plan on using home access for that test. It is FDA approved, and I work in a FDA regulated environment and know what the acceptance requirement for approval are.. I think we are just really worried about this type of test, but the worries are unfounded.

I took a Home Access Test , and it was negative. I asked 2 of my doctors if it was accurate, and there was no reason to retest.

OK girlie, now you are gonna hear it. first lemme say, if ya havent actually been put at a legitimate risk since yer 3 month test....the 9 month test wont change...the results will be negative. but you already know that, so lets get down to the root of your problem......

You will only stop being onbsessed with it, after you accept the things about you that created the guilt and fear. Take a personal inventory of "self", be honest to yourself , about yourself, and then tell on yourself. Doing this humbles "self" and humbling self, allows you to forgive and accept self....and thats is when the guilt and fear of those actions will cease* Good Luck & God Bless*
