Scared you might have HIV? Read This!

I thought I would post my story in case it helps someone. I have some medical problems and symptoms. My sore throat is chronic and I have had it for (off and on) about a year now. Recently I have had night sweats, oral thrush, headaches, loss of wieght and even some rashes. I had a CT scan that was negative about 6 months ago and tested negative for diabetes. Hmmm What could it be? I could go on and on but to make a long story short after scaring myself to death by attributing these symptoms to HIV I recently tested negative. So obviously having these symptoms doesn't mean you have HIV. Unfortunatly I still have no idea what's wrong with me but I will make some new trips to the Doc now that I know what it is not. Good luck to all of you, take care of yourselves..

hello, iv been thinking i have hiv for quit some time now,,but im soo scared to test. i have a rash on my right arm and it's spreading, i also have a rash on my chest, and thighs, but they only seem to bother me in the heat. im feeling depressed and im scared im gonna do something crazy one of these days, iv never had a problem going to the doctor, but this is wayy differant,,,plz,,,give me some advice.

The problem with having a "symptom" and not testing is that you could have a medical condition other than HIV that could be easily treated. The rash that bothers you in the heat could be prickly heat, a rash induced by warm humid conditions. Suggesting you may do something crazy leads me to believe you need to talk to someone for your depression...that too is treatable.
