I know that symptoms cannot be used to diagnose HIV infection, I'm currently awaiting test results from the source of sharps injury. I was just curious to know if HIV always causes swollen lymph nodes even in the abscence of other ARS symptoms.

When one is talking about the human body one can NEVER us the word "always" Hiv and for that matter any virus presents different in people. One can say that fever is the most common occurence. Swollen glands would also be very common however these are also common with other sickness as well. D.J.

A test i s the only thing that will let you know. Three months is more than 99 percent accurate. Like Ben Stiller says "DO IT, DO IT."
