PEP
      #208152 - 09/22/06 07:59 PM

Is there anywhere I can read about the effect of PEP on the anti-body test. Some doctors seem to think it slows down the production of detectable antibodies if the virus survives. Anyone found anything on this?

Found this:

"In cases where post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) is given a 6 month follow-up test is recommended due to the fact that antiretrovirals may reduce replication and prolong antibody response,"
