Just a personal thought
      #207802 - 09/20/06 06:35 AM

One thing that bugs me are the germs/bacteria that resides on environmental surfaces e.g. toilet sinks, taps, doorknobs etc. I know that the HIV virus does not live well on such surfaces and there has never been a documented case of any person who's gotten HIV through touching it. I got a few scenarios which I hope you people would be kind enough to help me with.

1) Toilet taps - I had a bleeding thumb the other day and I was washing it when my wound touched the tap.
2) Urinals - I was urinating at the urinal when my privates touched the urinal surface.
3) Doorknobs - Some fella did not wash his hands after poo-ing in the loo and just walked out. Any chance of getting something from the toilet doorknob?
4) Toilet seat - I was seating on the seat when my privates touched the edge. Again, any danger?
5) Water splashes - Is there any danger if water splashes into my eye while washing my hands after using the toilet?

I know these scenarios sound stupid but please help me out here. Thanks.
