Hey guys.
Just wondering...I know everyone is going to say "Only the HIV test will tell what is going on". but i am curious i had other routine blood work done, the cd4, thyroid, and all that jazz, and everything was normal. Is it true that if I had HIV that something would show up in these tests at least. Some kind of difference. Something abnormal? Just curious. I am really scared but I went this last Friday and got my HIV test. I also got a full panel of STD testing done. God..I hope they hurry and get my results and everything comes back okay. Please pray for me. Thanks.

No there isnt anything concrete from normal blood work that will tell you. Like Daisey said only the test will tell you. Stay busy in the mean time and dont search the internet for answers but support is here if you need it. It is a tough time but almost all of us have been through it. Keep in touch and let us know how you made out.

You have already answered the question. Only an HIV test will tell. You will get the results soon, good luck. If like most it will be NEG for as it is well know but not believed; HIV is a difficult virus to acquire, thank God.

there might be some abnormalities in your blood work if you were hiv, but then again it doesnt happen all the time, so your playin a guessing game which is no good when it comes to hiv.
