Now I know you can't catch HIV by kissing, but imagine this scenario
You know someone is HIv and your cool with it. You know you cant catch it by french kissing, but suppose the negative person had core / cold core on the edge of his mouth, if the saliva from the infected person came into contact with this cold sore, whats he chances of the negative person catching the virus?

Zero!!
There will be a theoritical risk if the HIV +ve person was profusely bleeding into the other person's mouth!

Studies have shown that not only is HIV not transmitted via Salvia, but Saliva actually inhibits the virus' ability to infect.
