why do you get memory loss with hiv ?

if your talking about hiv dementia, its caused by your bodies immune system unable to fight off infections to the brain. but in these days people with medication shouldent expereince any of these.
but ifyour wondering if your memory loss is due to hiv get tested, most likly your memory loss is due to good weed

Also, HIV by itself can cause HIV dementia. Currently the only drug that can cross the blood-brain barrier and fight the virus directly in the brain is AZT.
But yeah, as the first poster said. Just get tested. It's a lot eaiser than trying to match symptoms.
