Who says your dry cough has anything to do with HIV. Maybe it's just post nasal drip.

afetr exposure i developed severe dry cough followed by a slight cold....i shook the cold but not the damn cough! i was freakin out....stress, anxiety you name it..tried over the counter drugs but did not work! took an hiv test 8 weeks later and found out i was negative( thank god) and i will test again at 3 months!
i asked dr bob about the symptoms of ARS and he told me that it differs from person to person.. so i asked him why would they even list symptoms for it!!! he told me that symptoms are not very conclusive and should not go by it...because these are only the majority of people that suffered from it..and he told me to this day there is no defenite symptom for hiv,,reason bieng is that, hiv is a very smart virus.and evrybody reacts diffrent from it! so to sum t all up! no one knows how severe a dry cough is for so called ars symptoms...good luck on whatever your goin thru!
