Sore Throat, HIV or Anxiety

I am a 27 yo female, and met my boyfriend about two months ago (who has never been tested) and we've been having unprotected sex and sometimes oral. I got UTI a week after i met him. Went to the doctor and prescribed me cipro. And then about 6 weeks later I developed flu-like symptoms which included sore throat, fever, chills, diarrea, cold sweat and body aches which lasted about 2 days with slight fatigue that lingered for the rest of the week. I also noticed during the week i developed the flu-like symptoms, white patches on both my tonsils. My boyfriend didn't catch anything, he felt fine the whole time i was sick. I ended up going to the doctor again 2 weeks after the white patches cleared up, he prescribed me amox for 1 week and told me that it was a bacterial infection (no tests were taken). I am feeling much better but with less of an appetite, and I know symptoms don't mean hiv, but ever since my sore throat occured, it's been questionable. My tongue still looks more white and hairy than usual with tiny red dots at the tip of my tongue that feels slightly different -- like as if i lost some of my taste buds and in the mornings, its more white. I just want to know if this is an acute hiv stage....when i looked up the symptoms, everything points to hiv -- i know symptom surfing is bad but can't help it. We are planning on getting tested at the end of the week which will be my 11 week mark. Please help, i'm so scared. i can't eat, i can't sleep.

I think it was good you had white patches on tonsils because
you probably had strep throat. They should of gave you a culture.

My doctor told me it probably wasn't strep that it would be more painful if it was, he just told me i had a bacterial infection (with no test) and prescribed me with amox for 7 days. i still have a slight whitish tongue with red dots at the tip that won't go away. i know i didn't have them before.

i want to give you all an update on my status from my original post for those who are reading this in hopes to find some ease of mind. i dragged my partner who i thought had exposed me to get tested together and we both came out negative! Please do not rely on symptoms as i have done. i must've added 30 yrs to my life. please get tested and be safe.
