At Risk Question

I came to this forum to find some answers and I have read the posts regarding HIV transmission from food. Many people have stated that the heat in the food will kill the virus. I am curious if the same improbability of getting HIV applies to drinks as well. A bartender making me an ice tea had a band-aid on his finger and he was squeezing lemons into my drink. 3 weeks later, I developed flu like symptoms such as a 101 degree fever, fatigue and a bad headache. These symptoms lasted for 24 hours. I don't ever get the flu, so it freaked me out a bit. At risk or a hypochondriac?
Thanks and peace to all.

On My God. How many times do people have to say this: There is no chance of contracting HIV through food.
