Huh? the ELISA test is a bood test; if it is positive, a Western Blot test is then done to confirm. The tests are conclusive at 13 weeks past exposure.

DJ is questioning your statement(you made it sound like ELISA test is some kind of dental exam or written test). If you took a ELISA blood test at 3 months post exposure it is considered definitive that you do not have HIV. Now if you want piece of mind at 6 months that is your decision but it will not change your results. Cankers and mouth sores come from many different things and are 100X more likely to come from something other than HIV.

What are you asking? You tested at 6 months and are negative. You are negative.

Do you need to test further? Perhaps...for other illnesses. Not for HIV, since you don't have HIV. Talk to your doctor about finding out what is really wrong with you. Might be Cancer, but it isn't HIV.

No retest needed. You do not have hiv. If you have medical symptoms you should ask for a doctor that will be able to figure out where the symptoms are coming from but definitely not HIV.
