usual questions...pls comfort me
      #199991 - 07/14/06 01:42 AM

i have nothing new to ask, but whatever you say could help me prepare for the days ahead...

how much comfort should i draw from a 46 day negative test (6 and a half weeks)?

what stds should i check for, if i have an eyesore and a rash on my back? or should i test at all, if my risk was only mutual masturbation?

i will be grateful for all responses. please do write.

If your "risk" was ONLY mutual masturbation, I really can't think of anything. This activity is considered NO RISK.
Concerning a 6.5 weeks result, it is a GOOD indication of your status. The average time for antibody production is 25 days. Nevertheless, 12 or 13 weeks (3 mos) is the window period and only then can your result be considered conclusive.
In your case, testing is not even warranted UNLESS it's for your own peace of mind. The irritation on your eye and rash on your back can be anything EXCEPT HIV or any other STD as far as I'm concerned.
