groin area question .... need an answer

i don;t know whether it's because of lymph node swelling at groin area. i read somewhere that infection by hiv can cause fat accumulation at the tummy area (below belly button). anyone know whether this is true?i have all kinds of symptom but only after 3 weeks then have swollen lymph nodes at groin area? is this consistent with ars?

Your groin glands are probably not even swollen. If you are a thin person, then most of the time your glands down there can be felt as small little peas. You need to go to the doctor if you think your glands are swollen, but I doubt they are.
And fat pockets??!! As ARS???!!! Come on now....Get real here!! Maybe after years and years of having the infection. That MIGHT hapen. That would probably be side efffects from meds anyway!!

Lymph nodes with hiv are large non-tender, stiff neck, dry cough, rash, sorethroat, sometimes sore in mouth and sometimes vaginal yeast infection, chills, fever , diarrhea
vomiting. Have you had any of this since exposure?

I believe the fat accumulation you are talking about is lipodystrophy and it is a result of the medications taken for HIV, not as a result of the virus.

i have mild fever, sore throat, diarrhoea (watery and loose stool), muscle tremors, extreme fatique esp during rest and after meals. then about 2 weeks after subside, i felt swollen lymph nodes at my groin. thing is, my wife has the diarrhoea, fatique, and worse....the muscle tremors (real jerking and shaking) during rest (esp when sleeping at night.

Were you tested for syphillis? One of its symptoms is swelling of the lymph nodes in the groin area especially.
