Thank you for replying to my questions. Dr. Bob says that taking high-dose corticosteroids can affect HIV test results, is he referring to something other than what my fiancee had (3 injections)? My fiancee tested again, this time 9 weeks after his last shot and again came back NEG from Home Access. Please advise what your opinion is as an AIDS counselor???

His dose was not high enough to affect his tests unless they injected all 3 levels of the spine and multiple facets, yes very high amounts of corticosteroids can but a series of 3 injections is not a high enough. Relax, believe the tests unless you want to get yourselves in a testing loop that because he took aspirin, a prescription med that could, or any other reason you can come up with to keep testing. He dose not have the HIV virus in his system, it has been long enough, quit worrying.
