The new Eliza 4th generation test tests for both antibodies and the virus itself. I don't know whether its already released to the general public. Anyway, a person testing negative for both after 30 days is considered hiv negative.No further tests will be necessary. This will make all the window period debate redundant and people can know their status before they can stress themselves big time.

I read it from a yahoo news site a few days ago. I can't remember the site.But the information I've posted is correct.

I think it's CLOSE to correct, but I don't know about the time frame. Dr. Holodniy references it in his forum, says they're out there but not publicly available yet. They do antigen and antibody testing.
