My result is waiting for me at Home Access. I sent my test in more than six months ago, and the recording says to call back during business hours. I have pretty much accepted that the result is positive, otherwise my results would still not be available. Is this correct thinking? I have accepted that I am probably going to test positive, but just can't seem to bring myself to hear it.

Your thinking is right. You need to have your blood work done. See your doctor.

It doesn't mean a thing that your results are taking longer than you thought. Just try to hold off on making assumptions until you have confirmation on your status. If you already tested negative at 3 months, then you have nothing to worry about.

I am not sure if I understand what you are saying. You think your positive because theres a recording?? I doubt that. Why dont you just do as it says and call during normal business hours.

If your results are postive it just would be confirming what already is a fact. You need to know your status. If negative, then you can go on with your life. If postive, then you can go on with your life, which will be much better by getting proper treatment that you aren't getting now if indeed you are postive.
Make the call or call your doctors office and get another test done there, where you will have support when the result if returned.
