OK - so we are all smart enough to know how HIV is transmitted. But yet we still worry about casual contact, like:
1) "thinking" you stepped on a needle - you would KNOW!
2) stepping on a nail
3) splashing toilet water
4) Thinking Nurse using dirty needle
5) Dirty ultrasound wand
Come on! We can go around worrying about non-risks or we will never enjoy life!

It's difficult to believe that 25 years into this wretched disease that people are still so ignorant about how it's spread. There was a recent survey that showed that 25% of Americans believe that HIV can be transmitted by sharing a glass with an infected person or kissing them. These are probably the same people that vote for Bush and his cronies.
