Can yout get hiv from stepping on a nail?

I hope you are not serious about this question, but in case you really don't know the answer.
You get HIV from unprotected sex or sharing needles. Stepping on a nail doesn't fall into either category.

Not unless someone had stepped on it just before you. It's highly unlikely that this occurred. Even if someone had stepped on it directly before you, you wouldn't necessarily become infected. If you had your tetanus shot then you're fine. I wouldn't worry about HIV.

There are people working on our roof, and my dog got loose becauses my mom left the door open. I started walking outside to get her, and hadn't even walked out from underneath the porch when i stepped on it. It was attached to a shingle. I guess it would be impossible for one of the worker's to have stabbed himself with the same nail before it fell off the roof?
I'm sorry, I am just paranoid.
