freaking out, are these hiv+ symptoms?
      #191968 - 05/18/06 03:31 AM

I need to know what's going on with my body! Last year, I had about 4 sexual partners in total, I engaged in risky sexual behavior, unprotected vaginal and oral (they're past lovers but promiscous). In nov. I got a bacterial vaginosis, got metronidazole and terconazole cream, finished treatment. Then I got a yeast infection, this was weird bc in the past i've always gotten rid of whatever infection with 1st treatment, never needed subsequent treatments! I was given another version of metronidazole and a diflucan pill for the yeast, things cleared temporally, then the yeast infection came back. I was given another diflucan and terconazole cream, and repeated treatment the following week. Cleared up and came back!!!! I was then prescribed itraconazol 100mg, twice daily for 3 days, repeated following week....came back! Needless to say I have been back and forth with this problem for 7 months!

I took a test for diabetes and came out this a sign of hiv? The last few months I've also been feeling extremely fatigued, have low stamina...i get colds easily, but no fevers. Whats going on with me, and if it isn't hiv, what is this and how can i stop the yeast infections!!! PLEASE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS FOR ME ASAP!! what can relieve me of yeast?

Get tested. Symptoms ont mean anything. You need to get tested thats the only way you can know you staus. I get yeastinfection allll the time, and I have since I can rememebr, and I am symptoms mean nothing.

You just need to take a test. It's that simple. There's no way to know what's at the root of your recurrent infections unless you rule things out (like you already ruled out diabetes).

Nothing can "relieve" you of yeast entirely. We all have yeast in our bodies. It only becomes a problem when it grows out of control, so you need to find out why your body isn't keeping it in check. DO NOT assume that it's HIV, though, without taking the test -- it could simply be a matter of being run down.
