Does the rash itch?

If a person does have the rash associated with ARS, is it a rash that itches??
I've all of a sudden developed a rash (about 9-10 days after exposure). Its pretty much only on front. Chest and a little of my stomach. Its more like little raised welts. VERY noticible to say the least.
BUT.....I've recently started going to a tanning salon, and tanning in a bed. I got a little burned a few days ago and after that is when these welts/rash started to develop. Im assuming its from the tanning, but still a little worried.
Like I said, its like raised welts with some measal looking spots here and there. But it ITCHES like crazy!!!!!!
Does the ARS rash itch???
**I have no other symptoms. no fevers, fatigue, night sweats, etc etc. I do have a canker sore...but pretty sure that happened when I bit my lip!! GRRR!!! Then of course, once I bit it, kept doing it over and over then came the canker sore.
Hate that.

The HIV rash is usually non itchy. It is almost always associated with fever and other sickness. I doubt your has a thing to do with HIV infection. DJ

Ok. Well this is itchy!!! And its on my front......and my back. Pretty much right where most of the pressure is when I lay in the tanning bed.
As I said, no fever, fatigue, headaches, nausea, diahrea or anything like that. Just the rash (and the stupid canker sore)

Nothing else to say other than you should spend your time worrying about something other than HIV infection. D J

Chances are you are having an allergic reaction to something...perhpas your tanning lotion...perhaps the cleaner they use on the tanning beds....but it's not HIV. If you have placed yourself at risk...test...but don't stress about the rash.
