last year i had extreme extreme fatigue and 1 day of fever and typical flue like symptoms, they went away in a day however the fatigue lasted about a month and a half!! i went to the doctor for mono but he said that it wasnt mono after a standard blood test...would this be accurate? would a mono specific test need to be given? also i have had mono before back in like 9 th grade and i though u coulndt get ebv again after u have had it once? i read that mono is a syndrome caused by many other things other than ebv? i guess what i really wanted to know is unexplained and profound fatigue for over a month typical or ars?

symptoms dont mean anything.
first of all what was your exposure. if it included unprotected vaginal/anal sex with someone whos status you did not know
then just get tested its the smart thing to do i know the fear and anxeity im going through that myself.
first think about your risks, then think about symptoms, then decide what to do.
